VP, Communications

Abodunrin Adeoye currently serves on the PMI Lagos Chapter Executive Board as Vice President (Communications).He is responsible for the timely dissemination of information both to Chapter membership and other external parties, newsletter, marketing, website, etc.
Adeoye has expertise as a communications professional, with particular experience in advising organizations in the Telecommunications/Information Technology, Health sector Project Management (NGO-Not for Profit)
His hands on experience in communication includes: PR; media relations; internal communications; issues and crisis management; culture change programmes; research projects, including staff opinion surveys; as well as event management.
Adeoye focuses on achieving organizational objectives by ensuring clear communications. He believes that successful communications have to be founded on well-defined, clear messages, be they to the media, or to customers.
He is passionately involved in coaching and training individuals in the use of communication tools and aids to achieve superior performance and quantum leap results in their everyday lives, careers and businesses.
He is a Seasoned Management Consultant and Superior Performance Communication expert with experience in cross functional team leadership in multi-vendor projects, responsible for designing and managing Project Cost, Time, Quality and Stakeholder expectations.
He has about 12 years professional consulting and facilitating experience comprising Project and Program Management, Process Excellence (Lean 6-sigma, business process design, improvement and Re-engineering) and Business Analysis. He has a diversified portfolio of past projects covering different industries including Telecommunications/Information Technology, Construction Project Management and Health sector Project Management (NGO-Not for Profit).At Abridge Consulting, His current research interests include project leadership management, customer experiences management, quality management (using 6-sigma and lean methodologies), personal career and brand development.

He has helped organizations achieve operational excellence by the proper use of Six-sigma and Lean methodologies for superior customer experiences management and strategic competitive advantage that reduced waste, led to greater profits and transformed organizations in terms of cost and time. As a firm advocate of human capability, He is very passionate about capability development and value(s) re-engineering as tools for personal transformation, organizational transformation, use of social media for professional brand enhancement and leadership development. He has been instrumental to superior performance in the experiences of several people, using the above tools. He is currently involved in not-for-profit research and coaching in the above areas.
Apart from being certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as Project Management Professional (PMP), He is also a Business Process Management Professional (BPMP) from the Business Process Management Council (BPM) and also a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB).
