IPM DAY/PROJECT OF THE YEAR 2010: APPEAL FOR SPONSORSHIP

The International Project Management Day (IPM Day) is a global event intended to encourage project-based organizations and those who utilise project management methodologies to truly demonstrate appreciation for the achievements of project managers and their teams.

The Project Management Institute, Lagos, Nigeria Chapter, chartered by the Project Management Institute Inc (PMI®) and separately incorporated as a non-profit, tax exempt corporation organised under the laws of Nigeria will be having her premier awards, coinciding with the celebration of Nigeria’s 50th anniversary, to recognise and honour contributions and achievements in the project management field in Nigeria.

This event is planned to kick off on the 2nd of November, 2010, with a series of two and three-day seminars by renowned PM professionals and will culminate with a conference and a gala night/dinner to unveil our Project of the Year to be showcased as the entry for the Global PMI Project of the Year award at the international conference in May 2011.
