About International Project Management (IPM) Day

The International Project Management (IPM) day is intended to encourage organizations who utilize project management methodologies to schedule some type of recognition event within their organizations or coordinated locally with others to truly demonstrate appreciation for the achievements of project managers and their teams.

IPM Day is always celebrated on the first Thursday in November of each year.

This year’s event is totally focussed on you – the Project Manager. We shall be giving out awards to project managers who have demonstrated excellence in their completed projects.

Eligibility

Project Managers that had successfully completed projects in the year leading up to the award date, everywhere in Nigeria, are encouraged to participate. PMI affiliation is not necessary. Any project that is perceived as having effectively applied project management principles and techniques is eligible to submit for judgment.

Submission

Let us take Nigeria to the next level at the world stage, please plan to nominate a Project Manager for the IPM Day 2011 Awards.
